where can I find pasteurized/ distilled vinegar?

I got a big scoby but did not have a lot of starter liquid

Patti...it is perfectly fine for the SCOBY to go vertical....they may also

lay on the bottom or float on top...all are perfectly normal behaviors!

You didn't mention starter liquid being put in your batch....you did use

some??? Or pasteurized/distilled vinegar??
