Guest guest
Oh mine too!!!!! I like this very much. I have been eating a small amount later in the evening instead of something bad for me like snack foods. Last wednesday, I was having some fairly severe stomach problems (restraunt food) right as my very first batch ever of kefir was just getting done. Within about 30 minutes of eating some, my stomach was much improved. All in my head? Maybe but at this point I just don't care. Something helped. My problem is the wonderful gentleman who gave me a start gave me a little over a full cup of grains, so I'm going to have to throw some out. No one seems to want it. So...here's your chance!!! Email me! QUICK....They have been raised in organic milk from walmart. Don Marjorie Russin <prairiegirly@...> wrote: Dear Ones, First, I let my Kefir ferment for 24 hours, then 48 hours. Guest guest
NO NO NO... not that at all....I just want to make sure you are getting what you think you are getting. I have found out real quick... this is like adopting another kid to raise. Everynight...more milk, wash the grains, wash the jars, take time to try to eat some of it.....make sense??? Some of the questions you asked made me wonder if I had what you wanted or not as mine are in fairly common milk, not water or anything like that. Guest guest
Don and everyone, I just want to say, don't ever throw extra grains away. The grains themselves should be eaten daily. They are so good and healing. So, either chew em up or swallow em or blend them in a smoothie, but don't toss em I've even been known to give them to my dogs. Guest guest
<<I've even been known to give them to my dogs.>> Our puppy came to us very very sick a year ago and he is now the picture of health. He gets grains everyday. If I am ever too busy or skip a day, he even smells differently. He is the first dog I have ever had (first one since our deep journey into diet and health) and the first dog I have ever had, and I have had many, that doesn't smell like dog! He smelled terribly when we got him also and was on a very bad diet. His coat is shiny and beautiful. I attribute it all to kefir grains (and a good doggie diet, of course) ; ) Millie
