Re: Question - Straining KT? bleh! no chewing on ooglies for me, thanks. here's what i do: i put a section of a tea towel (i cut one into pieces) on the top of a plastic pitcher with a rubber band-so it sinks into the pitcher. then i slowly pour the finished kt into the pitcher. this gets rid of all ooglies (thought the 2nd ferment sometimes gives me a tiny little scoby but that's easy to fish out), and also puts it into a container that makes it very easy to pour into grolsch or wine bottles. it's the best solution i've found and then they can just be rinsed out and then washed-used over and over again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
