Guest guest
, I have not seen any research or ideas expressed on the relationship between Low Thyroid and kombucha. In all cases the relation between health and kombucha must be judges on an individual bases. (according to my training). Kombucha is very safe for normal folk. I have been trying to determine why kombucha tea which gives " normal folks " an energy burst, sometimes with a slight buzz or light-headedness, somewhat akin to a glass of beer or wine, and those that experience an overly dizziness where they have to sit down and rest. This may appear in even those within a " normal " health condition and even with those that are quite athletic. Since everyone's kombucha may be quite different coupled that with individual health differences the variable are beyond , at least my Comprehension. For example, an earlier post someone said that they contacted Braggs Apple Cider people (good folks/good product) and they said that from one of their mushrooms (that would form in their ACV bottle) could be used to grow a kombucha mushroom. (yes, it can but is it kombucha? Kombucha should have gluconic acid, ACV doesn't. There is a different brewing process also which may make for unknown differences as well) Another example is ( I heard) that Stamis, the Fungi Perfect guy, who does not like kombucha " mushroom " was contacted by a group looking to market kombucha commercially and contacted (as he is the expect on fungus) but were disappointed because kombucha mushroom could not be limited to a single species (hence they could not patent) Peace Ed Kasper LAc. & family California Licensed Acupuncturist & Medicinal Herbalist ...........................................
