Guest guest Posted January 2, 2008 Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 , I also put the hibiscus in AFTER its bottled, tis quite yummy and I figure the best of both worlds that way, Since the hibiscus ( Jamaica) is also a healthy drink with benefits of its own. When the KT gets a bit too sour, try adding a bit of fruit juice ( not to the brew pot but to the finished brew) some folks even just add a bit of the sweet tea. However you do it that added sugar content seems to remove the vinegar taste and once again makes it a very pleasant healthy drink. zoe > Sunny, > If you put the hibiscus in then does it effect the scoby?
