Re: long brew

It will make a most excellent starter for your next brew, that's for sure ;-)

and for cleaning working surfaces, utensils and hands.

I love such strong KT for facial tonic and first aid for cuts, abrasions

and skin problems. There is nothing more efficacious than acidic KT.

.

Hi Margaret and others,

I would like to know how you use the kombucha for a facial tonic. Full

strength? Wash it off or leave on? When?

I have found after drinking KT for a little over a month that I have a

yearning for it. I have not got to the drinking straight yet, but love it with a

little grape or apple juine in it. I gave a glass to my little niece one day she

spent with me making bread and doing crafts. New Years eve she came to me and

asked if I had any KT and could she have a glass. Can you believe it?

I would also like to know what other ways you use it. Did I read somewhere

that it was also good for fungus infections?

TIA,

Morning and evening before bed.

Full strength, splashed on and massaged in with the hands and fingers.

I don't wash it off, just towel-dry if still wet.

Absolutely! it's fantastic stuff and very addictive to those who take to

the taste. Your KT must be lovely!

I know a lot of people who pulled a face when they first tried the KT

I gave them and let their prejudices rule them.

I have found that people either love KT or hate it - it's a peculiar

thing. The ones that hate it are usually the ones that drink horrid

coke/diet stuff and eat unnatural/processed foods, which sure has a

corrupting influence on one's taste buds ;-)

Yes, indeed! That is correct.

Kombucha acts as an anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial.

That is one reason why it works so well on wounds, even the cleaning

of cuts and dirty abrasion, and also helps against athlete's foot (fungal

infection).

BTW the liquid is absolutely excellent as first aid on burns and scalds too.

That is why I always have a strategic jar with scoby bits and acidic

KT handy in my kitchen

Some of my family think that I am a complete Kombucha and Kefir nutter LOL...

a very healthy one too thanks to the probiotic super food!

Happy drinking and applying ....
