I'm not sure about " Over there " , but " Over here " it's quite possible to scrounge

empty pickled egg and pickled onion jars (About 1/2 gallon) {Which would,

otherwise, be chucked out or recycled} from a local Chip Shop.

I have to restrain my-self at this point , because we refer to them as

" Chippies " a totally different translation.
