Guest guest
Hello and thank you for letting me join this fine group! I guess ... all the things I've done in my life have led me here - or somesuch. I'm so happy! The other day I was scouting for family provisions, aka shopping at Sprouts, and I picked up my first two bottles of GTS. Mind you, that day I was headachy, pmsee, tired, had just come off a week long fast and still had one more store to go to. After paying for my groceries, I plucked the gingery bottle of GTS from the grocery bag and downed it while sitting in the car, debating if I really wanted to make that last stop. Instantly I thought, " omg, does anyone else know about this stuff?! " Needless to say, I was feeling wonderful, almost immediately concocting ideas to get my hands on more! Made my way to Whole Foods, then home and started a mad google for my new favorite thing. I've just finished ready Nourishing Traditions - great book - it has a recipe for KT, but I've found other sites and people to confirm. It's been two days since I've been following the group. Done searches on everything I can think of and I think I'm ready. I have black tea, green tea, sugar, glass jars, big water bottles, little water bottles - now all I need are a few scobys to get me going. Love that word! I would be most grateful if anyone has a few spares? I have paypal. We are in Tucson, AZ. My other question: My toddler thinks its neat to try anything mama tries - he's convinced most things I drink are something good. The other day he drank half my glass of unsweetened, not from concentrate pure cranberry juice spiked with very tart grapefruit juice. It made *me* wince, but he happily chugged it. I have not been able to locate any sources that say to the contrary that it is safe for toddlers to consume KT - does anyone else know? -vanessa
