Guest guest
Hi Don and EveryOne, As far as I know, there is no evidence whatsoever that Kombucha reduces thyroid hormone. If anyone finds such evidence please let me know. Many people have reported major improvements in how they feel when they switch from Synthroid to natural thyroid hormone....Armour. Armour contains not only T4 like the Synthroid but also the active thyroid hormone T3 plus T1, T2 and Calcitonin for your bones. Armour costs a lot less than Synthroid and it is natural thyroid hormone. You can learn a lot more about it here: http://users.bestweb.net/~om/thyroid/ and on another Group called: Natural Thyroid Hormones: NaturalThyroidHormones/ Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev -- In kombucha tea , <lostriverrisin@...> wrote: > > Put me on that list! He has had me take some interesting things for a Dr. anyway....My Dr. made it VERY clear to me to make absolutely sure!!!! that my synthroid was/is to be NOT taken with milk, milk products or even with my morning coffee with cream! For at least 2 hours. His explanation was.... the synthroid will not go into my system if the calcium is there with it. So I guess Im lost of what all the hub bub is about here.....It was mentioned in other postings the mention of adverse side effects of prescription meds this and that on TV...leaves me scratching my head that a pill for my stomach (to help me) can make me nauseaous, bleed inside etc and that is exceptable???? Guest guest
Im leaving this all intact because I don't want previous comments removed/lost...sorry. Where do I get this thyroid, natural???? Biggest reason, I don't really think the gen/synthroid is doing the job. I'm 51 not 101! I am not done yet, there are things I still want to do! My body's thyroid was really low but not completely gone. My regular Dr. goes thru the results so quick, I can't keep it all straight. But the big fact is she is always on my rump for not loosing weight. I can quit eating for a week and not loose anything....now Im not a Dr... but come on here... I think the only thing I loose dieting is my strength, and exercise she says.... I don't have the energy to whip the proverbial cat! Talk is cheap. However I honestly think I am starting to feel better on KT and Kefir. Seems like my BP meds are not making me as dizzy now. That is in itself worth all the trouble to date! Making KT and Kefir! Guest guest
Don - my mom takes one from a company called Standard Process - it is called Thyrophin. Someone else mentioned a supplement from Armour. All you would need to do it research it. Do a google search on " natural thyroid supplement " and I am sure a bunch of websites would pop up. Here is the Armour: http://www.antiaging-systems.com/a2z/thyroid.htm Here is the Thytrophin from Standard Process: http://spinelife.stores..net/thytrophinpmg.html You can also find it at Standardprocess.com Hope this helps, Don!
