Guest guest
Today as Putter got out of his carseat on his way to the Autism Center, he picked up his sister Sophie's hair brush and said thoughtfully to himself, " Brush. " I didn't even know he knew the word (although I have seen him try to brush his hair); then tonight in the tub, an excellent place to work on speech due to its confined environment and you can use splashing as a reinforcer as long as you don't mind mopping afterwards, I held up a duck and said, " What do you see? " and he said " Duck. " I didn't know he knew that either! Finally, my manding only boy is tacting! At the beginning of this year, when I was doing the ABLLS with Putter, he had no echo and almost no words (maybe fifty at most and those used only under duress), no gestures, no communication except for my highly developed PSP (Putter Sensory Perception). I am amazed and delighted by the progress he has made; so much more needs to be done (he is my fourth child so I well know just what a four year old should be doing and he is not anywhere near that), but starting to tact can surely be considered a little victory for Putter. Guest guest
Congrats! Little Victories So, as you may (or may not) know, I had a baby on 4/26 and I've been trying to lose my PG weight. A month ago I started at 133 lbs and a 33 inch waist. I haven't been able to workout as much as I did pre- baby since her night and wake up schedule is so unpredictable, but I've been eating cleanly and doing what I can. I've lost 2 lbs and a 1/2 inch off my waist. It's not much, but it's a beginning. I just had to share my little victory. Jen

Guest guest
Thanks. I'm still 10 lbs and about 7%BF away from my ultimate goal. > > So, as you may (or may not) know, I had a baby on 4/26 and I've > been > > trying to lose my PG weight. Guest guest
That's pretty close! Good for you! : ) " Nothing is more powerful for your future than being a gatherer of good ideas and information. That's called doing your homework. " -- Jim Rohn Re: Little Victories Thanks.
