Guest guest
Did a scoby trade to check out the difference in them. There is quite a difference in taste and appearance between my old scoby and the new one. The newer one is much lighter in color and tastes alot mellower. I prepared both scobies at the same time using the same ingredients and they sat side by side in the same place. The person I received the scoby from uses somewhat different ingredients than I do. What I was wondering is if over time the new one will start to look and taste like my other one or does the scoby itself create alot of the flavors. Also I would like to try combining the two together. What is the best way to do that? Put one of each scoby into the brewing jar or just mix 1/2 and 1/2 of the KT added? Or both?
