My Kombucha tastes like sparkling apple cider with a hint of vinegar

but that is because I prefer it a tad on the sour side. The wonderful

thing about brewing it yourself is you bottle it when it tastes right

to you.

Hi Laurie,

i find that I went thru a learning curve that determined how I like

my KT. I also prefer, most times, it mixed with a little fruit

juice., especially grape. I have decided that I like it sparkley and

chilled. I have also found that for me it is about 6 days when it is

no longer sweet but not yet vinegary. I decant it at that point, let

it sit one more day or night on the counter and then refrigerate it.

I also found that the more I drank it, the more I wanted it. While I

have been blessed with good health, I tend to burn the candles at

both ends. I find that I have more energy, sleep unbelieveably

better, have fewer carb cravings and just a better feeling of well

being. Oh, and it takes way less time for food to work its way thru my system.

So I guess I'm saying that you can find how you like to drink it and

either by combining it with juices or herbal teas, diluting it with

water or brewing it a shorter time.

I am so glad I found this wonderful food and I know you will be too.
