Guest guest
Hi , I just wanted to tell you that I am extremely sensitive to caffeine and have to watch consumption of it even in soda. I thought I would try the Kombucha, however, because of all the good benefits. Please note also that I am a tea drinker. I drink two glasses a day that is half KT and half grape juice totalling probably 16 oz of KT daily. I have had no problems that I would normally get drinking coffee and even sometimes caffeinated tea. So I would encourage you to try a little of it and see. I too use almost no chemical medications and have found the KT to be a great addition to the other foods that I eat for my health. Guest guest
Hello . I am also trying to stay away from as much caffeine as I can. What I read and follow is that most of caffeine is exctracted from the tea (any - White, Green or Black) in the first 20 to 30 seconds of brewing. So to naturally reduce the caffeine in my tea I steep my tea bags briefly (for those 20 or 30 seconds) in a small amount of hot/boiling water, then dump the resulting brew. After that I use the bags as usual. Wonderful Kombucha results from that and I do not get that " caffeine kick " . I use White Tea, but it's a personal preference.
