Can I ship a scoby to the US?

Hi folks,

It is freezing cold here in Canada, but I'm wondering if I could succeed in

shipping a scoby to the US? Are there border regulations? Can the scoby

survive freezing?

Any advice? I've come in contact with a lady in the US who needs one :).

I've never given before, but would love to!
