Guest guest
I have been getting over a cold - luckily that only lasted a couple of days. I usually end up getting cold sores whenever I happen to get a cold - which isn't very often. Today I was bottling my brew and I took some of the layers of scoby to toss into my compost bin because my culture was getting a bit thick (which I like because it produces more fizz). Anyway, I remember several members stating how they use scoby for burns, scrapes etc. I put a small piece of scoby on my lip for about 10 minutes as my kids were circling me asking me what the brown goop was (LOL). I must say that it actually has removed the pain. I still feel a little bit of " tingling " , so I'm wondering if its killing the virus.... Has anyone else had luck with using scoby to get rid of cold sores?
