Guest guest
Thought I would tell my experience with KT and hair growth: As long as I have known my friend , he has had thinning hair from male pattern baldness. Over the last 17 years it, of course, has gotten thinner. Fast forward to last year when we began brewing and drinking KT. I cut his hair all the time, and I began to notice on his bald spot fine, fuzzy hair that was not there before. I mentioned it and he said that other friends and family had noticed it as well. It is not thick hair but is definately new growth. He is 59 and I suppose it could be some hormonal thing triggered by the KT, but still interesting that this has occured. Not saying it would do that for everybody, but that is his experience. **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living. Guest guest
Very interesting! I don't know if it helps, but I gave my older, darkened kombucha layers to to put on his head. **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living. Guest guest
Lee, If hair loss is due to a nutritional issue drinking kombucha may make a positive difference over time, if hair loss is due to genetics then it's not likely to help. Guest guest
Hi ...within six month of my starting KT last year my hairdresser noted that my hair was seeming to be much thicker. It certainly feels thicker to me. I can also personally attest that my previously very much blonding hair is regaining some of its red at the age of 54. I am a natural strawberry blonde. Guest guest
Has anyone seen this in women? I've been loosing my hair since I was about 25. It's an all over loss though. Thank you, Skye Re: Does Kombucha really thicken hair? Guest guest
Hi Skye...Most days I drink about 16 oz/500ml. Some days double that...I drink it when I feel like I should...some folks would say when I 'crave' it.... I have been drinking KT for just about a year now.... Thank you, Slye Re: Does Kombucha really thicken hair? > How much are you drinking a day, Gayel, if you don't mind me asking? > > Thank you, Skye ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Hair loss is one of the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Guest guest
Who mentioned it feeling gross and shampooing afterwards? I can imagine that. I have a problem with the dryness of my hair I have suffered and have used Bragg's ACV to rinse it with on occasions I was curious if anyone else does this kind of thing? I know drinking Kombucha cleanses the system and everything.. My nutritional status (B12, Ferritin, Selenium) is very good and I take a very good Multi tablet to start each day Lee
Guest guest
Hi . I do not have baldness but I do have thinning hair, which is genetic for women in my family. Since I have been drinking KT (almost a year now) those " fuzzy hairs " that started growing are now a good 3-4 inches in length. Also, the " grey " hairs are not a numerous as they once were. I definitely believe there is something to new hair growth and less grey hair with KT. At least, that is what my experience has been. -- April On Sun, Mar 2, 2008 at 9:25 AM, <nScript@...> wrote: > Thought I would tell my experience with KT and hair growth: > > As long as I have known my friend , he has had thinning hair from male > > pattern baldness.
