Guest guest
My brother had psoriasis and topical application of vitamin A helped a lot. I have experienced less itching on my scalp now that i am drinking 6oz of KT each morning. I have been eating a diet of 50-75% raw for about 2 months before drinking KT and had started seeing some improvement with my skin in general before KT. I still can tell a difference in the skin where the patches have always been, they are a bit rougher, yet they are improving and the flaking is nearly gone. When I get stressed though, the first thing I do is itch!! There are many triggers for psoriasis, and KT isn't a cure but I believe does help. Meditation, yoga, and a better diet helps just as much. Guest guest
I was the one who asked about psoriasis. I have found that the condition of my scalp also depends on the shampoo that I use. If I use cheapo shampoo from the grocery store, my patches are weepy and gooey and even bloody - and really itchy. But if I buy my very expensive organic tea tree shampoo, the patches dry out and get flaky, but not itchy or weepy or bloody. I guess drinking some KT can't hurt! Thanks for the tips and your personal experience. OT: Skin problems and KT Hi~ I'm sorry about posting to the group, I couldn't find the original e-mail about psoriasis and if KT helps... Guest guest
, Try acidic kt as a hair rinse. I have used it topically with good success. Guest guest
The reason why you have success with the tea tree shampoo is probably because it's an antibacterial. I also recommend using the KT as a hair rinse, because it'll work like the tea tree oil, except you're getting a stronger dose with the KT. - > > Re: OT: Skin problems and KT > > > I was the one who asked about psoriasis. Guest guest
A few months ago my scalp was just as you describe. I tried every expensive shampoo I could get my hands on. My scalp itched burned and scratched untill it would bleed and I had problems going to sleep at night because of the itch/burn. No luck untill my wife suggested I use....Listerine??? ....on my head??? So out of desperation I used it. Put it on let it sit a few minutes and wash my hair. The itch/problems are gone. Looking at some internet sites... the listerine kills.....Yeast on your scalp???? Next time I itch a little...on my head goes the KT! Guest guest
Wow! I have heard that once before, but didn't know if there was any merit to it! I will get some next time I am at the store. I knew that psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis where a fungal infection of some kind... My hubby says that I should get some for him to put on his " pet " on this knee too... HAHA - we can't get that scaly thing to go away. Thanks Don! OT: Skin problems and KT Hi~ I'm sorry about posting to the group, I couldn't find the original e-mail about psoriasis and if KT helps...
