Someone had posted recently asking about drug interactions (usually phrased

outside of kombucha postings as drug-drug interactions). Many earlier postings

ask about getting official human study data published, too, and these are

answered the same way. Although kombucha qualifies as a food rather than a

drug, there are examples of food-drug interactions (banana, grapefruit,

starfruit, aloe vera come to mind). Maybe someone who sells kombucha supplies

would be willing to sell active (study article) and inactive (control or

placebo) arranged for double blinding? Some organization will have to sponsor

the study and the data collection, get the information about the study included

in notice to http://clinicaltrials.gov and arrange for oversight of the long

term safety reporting.
