Question about brass spigots and KT

Hello all,

I have a question about brass spigots on a glass jar, is it okay to use brass

with making Kombucha Tea? If not, why? Does it change the tea, or corrode the

brass? If I can't use the brass spigot how do I learn what I need in a plastic

spigot? and where do I buy one? Sorry for all the questions, I just found a

great 3 gallon jar with a brass spigot on it.
