vinegar after 4 days? Help!

Hi everyone - hoping for advice...

My third batch of tea is on it's 4th day and it already smells like

straight vinegar! I used Celestial seaonings green tea, honey lemon

ginsing flavor (all I had in the house) and 1 cup of organic sugar. My

first 2 batches were fabulous with Celesital's green tea, lemon zinger

flavor and the same amount of sugar, brewed 7-8 days. The brewing jar

is room temperature, out of direct sunlight with a towel on top.

If anyone has any idea what I did wrong, or what to do now (let it go 7

days? or dump and start over?) I'd greatly appreciate it!!!
