Guest guest
Deb, I have no idea how to cut and/or paste. I'm almost a computer illiterate but I know how to e-mail & such. Silly me but I can't seem to remember how to do stuff longer than 5 or 10 minutes if I don't write it down & my computer guru talks too fast. Poor Rat Dog either had a liver injury or doggie HCV when I got him and with his check up his liver enzymes were sky high. The vet and I decided not to do any treatment or testing because it would cause a fortune and it could have been from an old liver injury healing from when he was lost on the streets. With his follow up vet visit his liver enzymes went back down to normal and he is a happy camper. The vet said for some mysteries reason animals and dogs tend to clear liver problems better than us humans. Wish it was that easy with us. Cut and paste medical articles without the email headers before printing them along with the URL link for your Dr's. Tell your Dr's it is medically approved info Dr management guidelines for care and treatment of pt's which it is. Tell them to check it out for themselves in the medical journals. The Dummies. If all else fails tell them to chart you handed them the approved medical info and recommendations and if you have any complications or problems because of their lack of interest or support in your medical care you will personally hold them liable and responsible for your outcome. I'm still curious about Canada's TP and organ donor systems and how they work especially for HCV pt's and liver transplants. Here in the states a 2nd TP for recurrent non-responsive HCV is not looked upon as medically or financially feasible when so many people are listed or will be in need of their 1st TP from HCV with the constant dire shortage of organ donors. Toots, Take Care. Love and Hugs. Deb Next time I'm coming back as a cat
