Guest guest Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 When I decant, I decant into 12 ounce bottles with a swingtop on it so I can get some fizz into the KT. So I only use a few berries in one or two bottles at a time. I use about 2 very large strawberries or 3 to 4 small ones per bottle cutting them up to fit down the long neck of the bottle. It only takes about 12 to 18 hours for the berries to infuse into the KT. We do strain all our KT as I don't want oozie stuff in my drink. I got that once by sight, I might add, and decided that from there on in I would always strain the KT. I do have to let out the fizz every few hours, though, or when I open the bottle it will fizz out just like champagne. I use about 10 to 15 blueberries and maybe 8 to 10 blackberries.
