I've never changed doctors so I can't be sure. I think you have a right to a copy of your records so you could get one for your own information without telling why you want them. You may have to pay something for copying them. Then you could let the new doctor copy the records for their use or you could make a copy for the new doctor. This way you could get a second opinion without saying anything to your current doctor. Others may have actually dealt with this and can give you more direct advice.

I also use Google. First I searched for Dapsone and got too many hits so I searched within results for arthritis and I posted the first one that came up. There were a lot of others that I didn't read. Good luck and God bless.
