I would appreaciate the info on iodine deficieny, but I have been taking

megavitamins and minerals off and on for years.

I did have low thyroid many years ago, but the remedy sped me up too fast

My son took thyroxin and NIH said it gave him an adrenal cortcal crisis. Years

later, he took adrenal cortes shots.

I taught him to read when he was about 11 and had learned but a little in

special ed.

He had been to Dr. 's Physical Development Clinic. They thought his

problems stemmed from not crawling on his knees but going on his hands and toes.

They had him crawl and do the duck-walk. He learned how to tie his shoes there

and never forgot. He was in Dr. 's movie.

At that time, there was a clinic in Phily, I think, that took babies that were

basket cases, made them do crawling exercises. They got up and walked and

learned faster than other babies.

After thyroxin, at ll, my son would study from the appendix of the book, " Why

ny Can't Learn, " and he insisted on staying up until 1 a. m. In six weeks,

he went up to about third grade reading level.

He was so happy to tearn that words are divided into blocks. He could spell his

teacher's name: " Zip-per-man, " and he was elated.

I wish I had home-schooled him and he would have learned math, geography,

English and spelling.

I am happily surprised at how he now reads my e-mail, only stumbles over the

hardest words.

I just had an acute attack of glaucoma in one eye. I had to send him to the

psych ward run by his psychiatrist until I could get my eye straightened out.

My children all want me to put him in a nursing home in preparation for

long-term care.

I brought him home before, because they had on four psych meds (pro-lixin,

seroquel, zyprexa and his regular risperdal.

Abilify will do the same. At present hiis doctor has him on his old meds.

All can cause diabetes and he got it for the second time. A few months agom they

were going to send him far away, so I brought him home, tapered him off all but

the risperdal, and his diabetes went away for the second time.

A friend was living with us at the time. On 31 Dec 2007, he had a heart attack

in front of me. I called the ambulance.

He had five bypasses, came home here for rehab. I cared for him 9 days. Then he

had a second heart attack and had arteries ballooned out. I cared for him five

more days.

He now cares for me, putting drops in my eyes four times a day and driving me

around.

A couple of months ago, I also had a cancerous lump removed from my breast.

I am still drinking my Kombucha Tea and wish I could get some to my son. His

hair will be turning greyer now. O woe. He will look distinguished. My fadead

brows turned black again when I started on KT in 96.

He is fifteen miles away and I haven't seen him since 5 June.
