Guest guest Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Hi Make Sure to always put aside some SCOBYs. The best way is to use a Jar covered with a paper rowel or other clclean cloth. Called in this Forum a SCOBY Hotel with some already brewed KT and just leave the SCOBYs in it.. Add from time to time some Brewed Tea.. Not KT.. that's all. There will be the formation of new SCOBYs or often a huge big FAT SCOBY.. The SCOBYs will keep there for months even years... and the liquid you obtain is the best starter for more KT. Just use bare hands that you would have cleaned with warm water and Vinegar... Do not wash the SCOBY leave it alone as much as possible..
