Guest guest
I put them in the tea while it was brewing and then strained them out before I put it in the brewing jar. Guest guest
I figured out what I did wrong with my moldy batch. I didn't add enough starter. So I kept the rest of the batch that was in a different bottle and didn't mold. It has been brewing for 10 days and is very bubbly and a great color but it doesn't taste very vinegary like the ones I got from the store. My husband even said he'd consider drinking it as long as it tastes the way it does. Is it good to drink even though it's not very strong? I figure I'll let the starter sit for awhile longer before trying another batch. maybe it will get stronger the longer it sits. The batch grew lots of ooglies and fun stuff in there so I think it's still good. Anyway I'd appreciate any input for helpinga newbie get started. Thanks
