Hi PB, you are simply going through detoxification.  Those are the same symptoms

I had when I was detoxifying, at about the same amount of time of drinking KT.

The stuffy sinuses, the aches and pains,  the tiredness-ALL are detoxifying

symptoms.  Drink LOTS of pure water and the toxins will be removed through the

urine, rather than what you are going through.  If you need to, back down for a

while on the amount you are taking of the KT, but I wouldn't quit taking it, as

you will just need to go through the detoxification again when you start

drinking it again.  Hope this helps a little.  Jeani

Hit the wall. Allergic?

OK, been using Kombucha for about 2 1/2 months now to treat angina and

coronary artery disease. Was working great, and had worked my way up

to where I was drinking 3-4oz 3-4 times a day. All was great, and any

time that I would have angina, I would just use a little Kombucha. Had

been brewing using black and green teas, and golden natural sugar and

white sugar. Then... last week suddenly each time I used some KT I

would feel awful and hurt all over really bad. Slowly I figured out

that it was the KT, by trial and error. After not using any for about

3 days, I used just a little today, about 2-3oz, and instantly I get

all stuffed-up in my sinuses and my ears go bubbly, and I felt real

tired. Hmmm... I'm thinking that I have developed an allergy to this

Kombucha. I will be trying some different things, but I already had

been doing a variety of brews, and right now it don't look good. My 27

year old daughter still uses a little each day. She says it helps her

asthma, and she seems to still be doing OK, even though she has been

using it just as long as me. She usually only drinks about 4oz 1-2

times a day. My 83 year old parents have been using for about a month

now and love it (they have a different culture then me). Right now I

feel a whole lot better when I don't use any Kombucha. Arrrrrrg!

PB.. I second Jeani's recommendation...

Back off, but don't quit and drink lots more water until you work your way

through it...

Good luck and let us know how it goes...ok?

OK, thanks Jeani, Gayle, and ,

I will follow your recommendations, and see how this pans out. I

really can't afford for this not to work.

Thanks a bunch,

OK, I'm done. Even a small amount with lots of water is too much. At

first it seemed to be working well, but now it is impossible. It

quickly built up again to where I was having major allergic reactions,

and worst of all was that my heart went into distress. It has taken 2

days and a load of antihistamine to get settled down again. For now,

I'm done.
