Transporting KT and scoby

I'll be starting my first batch of KT this weekend, so between May 17 -

24, I should have some brew ready. But on May 28 I'll be moving from

Arizona to Kansas. So that brings up some questions in my mind.

1) When transporting the finished product will I need to burp the

bottles occasionally because of gas buildup?

2) How should I package the scoby for transport? I was thinking about

putting it in a large freezer bag with some KT. (My trip will take two

days).

Your experienced input will be appreciated!

Grace and peace,

moonius
