Guest guest
Hi everybody. I've been putting K scobies on several toenails that have had persistent fungus for years. I started out applying " kombucha cream " at bedtime (made by putting a scoby and some KT in a blender for a while to get an applesauce consistency). This seemed to be causing the nails to peel. So for a week or so now I've been taping actual pieces of the scoby to the nails at bedtime. I'm noticing that the nails are turning a rather horrible brown color, which is different than the horrible yellow color I'm used to. Is this a good sign? Am I headed in the right direction? I'm more than willing to put up with the ugly brown for a while if the end result is healthy nails. I wonder if anyone else has had any experience with this. I don't know if I should stick it out or go back to my previous method of tea tree oil and over the counter anti-fungal cream. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and experiences you may have!
