Guest guest Posted July 6, 2008 Report Share Posted July 6, 2008 hi all. how do you keep the scoby when it's not in use for a while? right now it is on my counter in about 1.5 cups of kt. do i need to change it/ feed it every so often? is it better to keep in the fridge? i am new at this and am not drinking kt daily yet so i don't need to make so much. also, i'd like some suggestions/ recipes on making kt yummier. i saw some of you add ginger or strawberries to the brew. so you add these ingredients at the beginning of the brew or towards the end? lastly, other than passing a scoby along to someone else, hat do you do with the old scoby? or do you keep the old one and give away the new one? i assumed you would always hang on to the new one. i feel bead throwing one away, can it be composted? thanks for all the help. sonia Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
