I am using the same recipe I have always used but suddenly my babies are not

developing thick as they have in the past but rather very, very

thin...almost look like a scim on the top they are so thin. Any ideas why

after more than a year of brewing I would get this change? The kombucha

still tastes great and carries the same characteristics otherwise that we

have always like..like devloping nice fizz in second fermentation in grosch

bottles. In the bottles I see little yeast development as well, just as I

always have experienced.
