Guest guest Posted July 3, 2008 Report Share Posted July 3, 2008 We left a jar of plain Kombucha on our counter in a wide mouth jar with the lid screwed down tightly. This was not done on purpose and we were gone for 6 weeks. When we rerturned there was a perfectly formed scoby about 2 inches thick and really white and nice looking, it is the prettiest one I have ever grown. Just wanted to share this with you all, my liquid is a really good one I think. I use white sugar, green and black tea and a couple Chamomile with a little cider vinegar.
