Hi! I went to stamp with friends tonight and the hem's nurse was there. She

let me know that insurance notified them that the SubQ was approved. BUT the

funny thing is that she said they asked for their last IgG numbers--- so they

gave them-- one was 700 and one was 800-- so she tells me, " Oh, Dr. hem didn't

think they would approve it. " So I explained, " Don't you think they would know

these were their post IVIG IgG titers since they asked for the most recent and

they know the boys are getting IVIG? " So she tells me that they had thought it

needed to be below 600 to be approved. So I explained that before they started

IVIG three years ago it WAS way below 600...... was 300 something and

ph was 400 something for total IgG---

Do you guys have folks who work with your kids who get confused about this

stuff? Obviously the insurance company asked for their last levels and MUST

have taken into account they are on IVIG? This is the insurance we picked up

last summer--- not the one we started IVIG with. I know that our " risk

manager " aka case manager knows the whole story and I was told she'd be the one

to approve it-- but then it did go through pharmacy-- so who knows.

NuFactor is supposed to call tomorrow, I guess. I got an email saying she did

not call tonight because of the time change..... worked for me, anyway b/c I was

out stamping.
