I came across their series - How can this marriage be saved? and found this heading: "We battle constantly over our autistic child" The cover on this issue is J. Fox and his wife, there is no mention of this article on the cover. The article is on page 116, 120, 123, 126 and 128. I have not read the article yet as I am a single parent, but they list this website where you might find it online: http://www.lhj.com/canthismarriage Bonnie Sayers http://autismspectrumdisorders.bellaonline.com http://autismfamilies.gather.com Get your email and more, right on the new .com

It is, indeed, excellent. " Can this marriage be saved? " is a regular feature in the magazine, which is probably why it wasn't on the cover. I liked it because, first of all, the couples in this feature are always real couples, not just made-up ones. And second? The effect of a special kid on a marriage can be pretty horrendous. We all know the divorce rate for folks in our shoes is pretty astronomical. So it's nice to see a major magazine take on the issue and demonstrate how a couple can get past the stress and grief and remain a family. I recommend it to anyone. It was, as I said, excellent and very informative.
