A funny thing happened today. We were at the " Halloween Hoopla " (a big townwide party) and they had a big " sunken treasure " there. It was a huge box filled with dried rice and little trinkets for the kids to find. I announced (to no one in particular), " What a great sensory activity! No tactile defensive children here! " All the parents looked up and smiled. I didn't even realize which parents were around me, but it just so happens that they all had children that are or were in special ed preschool! I just laughed and said, " A little knowledge is a very dangerous thing! " Stacey Abenstein Secretary, CHERAB
