Guest guest
, I am bummed to hear about the weight gain. Was this from the Abilify? My daughter gained over 30 pounds on Risperdal and her pdoc is switching her to Abilify because he said it is weight neutral. She is currently on 2.5 mg of Abilify and .75 Risperdal and 200 mg Zoloft. I missed the original post you were replying to. Thanks. Guest guest
My son gained 18 lbs on Abilify over 3 months. He is now off of it and beginning to loose it. All of these drugs can put weight on as a side effect, but they might not. Another factor is activity level. I would have encouraged more exercise, but fatigue was a problem for us too. Perhaps you can give the Abilify at night? Not sure if that would help. Bonnie > > , I am bummed to hear about the weight gain.
