Guest guest
Patsy, It is my understanding that a normal RF Factor is between 0 and 20. When I was tested it was 113, five days later 118 and 2 1/2 weeks later 164. After 5 weeks on Methotrexate and Plaquinil it is, as of last Thur, 119. Sounds like you are at the upper level of normal. Guest guest
The symbol < is a shorthand way of saying less than. The reference line says the result should be less than 20 and your result line says less than 20 but it doesn't say how much less because that is immaterial. It's just another way of saying "negative". ----- Original Message ----- From: justliloleme51 Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Sunday, July 20, 2003 12:21 AM Subject: test results..??? I had a blood test done For RF ..Under my REsult line was <20 and under the REference line was <20. I'm confused because my doctor told me it was normal.. Shouldn't the result line just have said "negative" instead of giving a number.thanks for any input..patsy
