That is so special. Especially that his classmates voted for him. I hope it

helps him to feel more accepted.

That is such good news. What an ispiritation he is. Makes someone like me whose child is so young and on the autism spectrum realize that we will get through.

Thanks for sharing.

And tell congratulations. I hope someday he does reach one of those goals. But whatever he does he has already succeded with so much he deserves a Gold Medal.

Take care

and SENIOR year.... from

, my 17 year old who is a senior in high school ( has Aspergers, ADHD, and is getting over a 4.0 and taking honor classes and AP English, came home today and told me something INTERESTING.

They had a homeroom a few weeks ago, and voted for the senior class all the elections, those elections that say, " Most Likely to....."

There are over 350 in his Senior class. NOT huge, but not small.

He was telling me that he wanted to get voted for something, like Class clown or something like that.

Well, there were many categories.

I guess he did get voted in for one of the categories. He has to go Monday the 18th to get his photo taken for that as the others do too, that were voted in also. This will be for the yearbook.

He was voted most likely to WIN THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE.

I honestly could see him getting that award from his high school.. FITS!

I hope it does come true for him someday! :_)

WOW.

He is now asking me what the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE is!

CUTE.

I think he knows a little. However, he has always told his classes that he wants to invent a cure for cancer and for AIDS. I think they believe he will!!!!

I am happy for him to get this fun little award, no matter if it never does come true, as he always feels left out sometimes in high school, and to get that is something neat. I never got anything like that in high school. :_)
