Guest guest
Rhonda, I love to use a sauna. I get a few hours of good relief from the pain. I use the city parks and rec and doesn't cost to much. Don't know about insurance as I have none. Guest guest
I find the sauna and hot tub at my health club very helpful for making me nice and loose. Guest guest
That's a good question! I was wondering the same thing about hot tubs. I have fibro but not RA so I can use good heat. Guest guest
Hi , I used to have a hot tub in my back yard. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone here. How wonderful it feels on the aches and pains. I moved and had to leave it but really, really miss it. Joanne, IL [ ] saunas > Has anyone used a sauna for RA and if so does it help? Guest guest
I use the sauna at my gym after I work out and love it! It has a eucalyptus aromatherapy so it feels like ben gay all over your entire body. All it takes is five minutes in there and you get a warm and fuzzy feel for at least three hours after you leave! The key is to get in at least 10 minutes of good cardio and 15 minutes or muscle toning in. Then spend about 15 minutes in the whirlpool to unwind before going in the sauna. Take a hot shower after that and then viola! You'll feel like a new person. I do that three times a week and use lidocain patches in between on sore spots if I hurt really bad. Guest guest
I applaud/commend you. I'm worn out just reading what you do....... I only have wasn't it 12 spoons in a day........ That is what I used to do (3 well maybe 4 years ago). Now I start trying and can't seem to be consistent on the exercise/gym. It takes energy and if I have that........ I don't have the $$... Guess that's having all your ducks in a row. I do have lots of smiles though. Carol Z On Jul 31, 2006, at 8:27 PM, Annie wrote: > I use the sauna at my gym after I work out and love it!
