Guest guest
Hi Dina, I feel so bad for your daughter! How disappointing! Things like this have been happening with my daughter at gymnastics also. Someone who is not as good as her got chosen for a a special " team program " . It could be due to her weight, or perhaps her ocd. I don't know. She has absolutely no behavioral issues in school or gymnastics, but I it could be just the fact that they know my daughter has anxiety issues. It really bothers her---- and me!! My daughter was sitting on her bed last night tearing off her toenails. (this was right after she went upstairs and weighed herself) (I can always tell when she does, because she never puts the scale back in it's right spot. (My ocd talking---lol) I went in and asked her why she was doing that, and she just kept saying over and over, " I need my medicine, but I'm so fat! I wish there was some type of support group for our kids, even online, or something where they could e-mail each other and not feel so alone with this. I just feel so helpless!!
