Immuno Appt. & Gut Issues

Cole has his second immuno appt. tommorow morning. Those of you who

believe in prayer, please pray that I keep my head on straight and

can make sense of everything and that I ask the right questions.

The last time we were in there I was just overwhelmed and it all

seemed like Greek to me. LOL

After an unsuccessful attempt to put Cole on Prilosec (He would have

nothing to do with the horrible tasting stuff!), the ped switched

him over to Prevacid. He " enjoys " taking his meds once again!

After 4 doses, it is still too early to say that it is working. He

still has the same gut issues and reflux. I really think that at

this point I will ask the immuno to see if we can't get him into the

GI sooner (his appt. isn't until Aug. 23). My maternal instinct is

telling me that there is more there than just reflux. I can't

imagine waiting for so long to get him in.

I also am going to see if we can't get him into the Ped Urologist

that he saw as an infant. Even after applying the Monistat cream to

his genital area like the ped suggested, he is still crying and

complaining about pain and " pokies " in that area. It looks fine,

but obviously something is wrong. The ped is just " humoring " me

when I call her about it or have taken him in for the problem. Time

to see the head hauncho now!

Thanks for your thought and prayers!

GERD, possible Celiac)
