Hello Chasley and welcome!

Although I am not the official welcoming committee, your intro caught my eye,

we also live in Puyallup! We have found CTU at Good Sam to be wonderful ~ my

niece, Kayla, was recently released from OT and ST, with followups regularly

scheduled. Feel free to email me directly ~ not sure if I can be of any help,

but I am a great listener!

I believe you will find everyone here warm, informative, friendly, caring and

sensitive to what ever your needs, concerns or issues are at the time. Great

support group!!

No, Kayla attends public 1st grade in Puyallup. Although her IEP was

completed in November and she is in 'special classes' at the school. Best of

luck and hang in there....keep seeking the answers to your questions.

Thanks for the welcome! Does your niece go to the Child Development Center

preschool? I understand that its near the CTU or in one of the newer buildings

of Good Sam. If she does has she had good progress there? I think Cole will be

going there in a couple weeks but I'm curious to find out if its going to be

beneficial. The therepist told me that it wouldn't benefict Cole if their are

too many kids or kids with severe developmental problems. I guess she feels he

wouldn't get the attention he needs. So I'm curious to find out more about this

preschool The family resource cordinator is suppose to come over on monday and

do an intake so I assume I will find out more then. We have our health

insurance through Group Health and we had the evaulation done in Tacoma and they

recommended therepy but couldn't tell me when he could start.
