Guest guest
Hi Everyone went for his second physio today and my husband took him. He siad that he was more comfortable on the big ball he knelt on the beam and was more comfortable but wasn't comfortable balancing. She got him to climb up rungs on the wall which he could do but the thing today was the hammock and swinging him like superman he did not like that but loved spinning around but not the forward motion. She was impressed how he worked out how everything worked how the hammock tied back up how the therapy bed went up and down and he knew where all the equipment belonged when they were finished using them. He is a difficult child to work out seems so far behind in so many areas and then so far ahead in others. She was only going to see him for one month my husband said that it could be extended for six weeks I think it is because he is so compliant and wants to please everyone so he tries hard and when any therapists see how hard he tries and his amazing problem solving skills they become intrigued I suppose this is good but when they hit a brick wall unless I am paying privately they usually stop or run out of enthusiasm is this common or only for therapists you don't pay?? Take care all See ya Michele
