, GLRS is Georgia Learning Resources System. It is basically for teachers

but parents can enjoy their services as well. For instance, one of the things

you can do is check out educational softward programs for several weeks at a

time to see if it works for your child. They are free to check out and certainly

beats spending the money on them just to try them. I have used this many times

to suggest software programs for the school to get and work with my son. The

directory I am referrng to is for the purpose of helping parents find programs/

camps/social skills groups/etc. for children with disabilities. Call

404-325-3011 to order a

book - the cost is $ 3. It's a fabulous resource book!!

Also, the Developmental Disabilities Council has just recently published their

new directory - call 404-657-2126 for this one. I'm embarrased to say I do not

know the cost of this one since I am involved with the Council !!! Hope this

helps, Bowen
