Dale asked me to write to let you all know that she is

out of town and out of contact until end of May. She's

taking care of her parents.

Dale,

glad to have you back..even if it is for a brief time. It is difficult when our

parents are getting older and don't want to admit they need help...it's so hard

for them to give up their independence, isn't it?

I am happy to hear your daughter Katy is doing well and I will pray for

continued health for her.

Hope you are finding some time to take care of your self. :)

note to say I'm back! At least for just over a week. I leave

again the 15th going back to care for my parents. They are at the stage

when they shouldn't be living alone -- but won't admit it yet. So.....

I'll be going back and forth until a decision is made.

I hate to have to delete my inbox -- but it was so full I knew I would

never catch up. I've got a million things to attend to to get ready for

return.

So, I'll try to just jump in -

Update on Katy:

She's re-establishing contact with us as parents. She's calling about

every 2 weeks now. She's still off IVIG (since August) and apparently

continuing to do well. She's had a couple of colds -- but been able to

fight them off without even antibiotics and apparently she's pierced her

ears twice with no problems! Go figure. This is the kid who couldn't

even wear non-pierced earrings without getting an infection! So, don't

ever lose hope of health! We don't know whether this is a temporary

blessing (since she doesn't have health insurance) or whether God has

totally healed her. But, she's enjoying the reprieve whatever it is!

She seems happy and getting more settled -- so thanks to all of you for

prayers for her transition to adulthood!

I've missed you guys -- sorry for all the drama I've missed. Please

know that even when I'm not here to care for you -- God is.

In His service,

dale
