Guest guest
I can not thank all of you enough for all the words of encouragement and advice. You made a bad day a lot more bearable. My daughter came home from school early today as she is experiencing the foggy head, extreme tiredness from her first weeks of celexa. We had a good talk and she explained her feelings at therapy. She feels everything is her fault and because we have put her on meds and entered into therapy she feels that everyone is mad at her and trying to change her because she is not a good kid. I tried to explain to her that we are not trying to change her, we just want to get her ocd under control so she can be happy again. I think I will need to reassure her a lot during this treatment because it seems no matter how many times you tell her, she needs to here it again and again. We both had a good cry and a good hug. Today I am not contaminated and can hug her again. Thanks again everyone. Kim M

Guest guest
Awe, that is wonderful Kim! I think the neat thing that comes out of all this is conversations like the one you just had. Its like through the suffering and hardship you grow a closer bond and closeness to our kids and family. What a reward to even get a hug on top of everything!
