Guest guest
whoops not sure why this has come through so many times :) Cheers jaxx (New Zealand) Re: Turtles " The turtle has a hard outer shell that protects it from the things that cause them distress... like our kids resistance when controlling their ocd, Turtles need the resilience of their shell to survive. Our kids need their 'shell' - US to advocate, to find the right therapists and to make sure they receive the best form of education available to them. The turtle is soft and vulnerable inside of the shell. Our kids are sensitive and can be helpless without the protection we provide as parents. The turtle moves slowly, but does progress. Like the way our kids do in treatment and with our support. " I so love that- when I was with my ex we had 7 turtles and have always loved them............ might find my turtle necklace and wear it again. I would so love to be at the conference, but it is a bit far to travel . Oh well one year!!! Cheers Jaxx (New Zealand)
