WASHINGTON, DC INVOLVED DOCTOR??

For two years I have been monitored by a gay, HIV doctor in DC. He

generally knows his stuff. As I have read some of your posts, your

doctors are truly involved in your care...you can email him/her, they

call you back when you leave messages, etc. I find my doctor is all

about the " office visit " and when you do make an appointment, it

doesn't matter if it is a hang nail (i am being a bit of a smart ass),

it is always an HIV-symptomatic related diagnosis.

ly, I am tired of it. I go for my 3 month check-ups and don't

bother him much otherwise. However, in the last year, between his PA

and him, I have left 4 various messages regarding potential situations,

and not once have I received a return call. When asked about email,

they don't provide those to patients either.

Does anyone have any success with INVOLVED doctors in the DC area? or

anywhere on the east coast?
