Guest guest
Hi all, I have been having dizziness and a 'spaced out' feeling leading to some 'vague' moments since starting on Raltegravir nearly a year ago, it hasn't passed but its not all the time....its unpredictable and to be honest, when it happens in company its embarrassing and when its outside my home I don't feel that safe...... My Clinician is aware of this, is taking it seriously, feeding back to the drug company and I am now having neurological tests.... he is asking me to consider Etravirine but I am loathe to do so because it may make my neuropathy worse... I take Pregabalin and Duloxotine (along with Carnitine) for the neuropathy and since there has been no tests to see if Isentress is contraindicated with those drugs, may be that is the problem...I also take Truvada, Darunavir/Ritonovir I know two other people on Isentress who are not of the same demographic and they are also having the same side effects, though one has only been on it for 3 months and the other for 6.... Guest guest
Ive noticed occasional instances of dizziness, slight loss of consciousness, been on isentress about six months. Will start paying more attention to the frequency and duration. What is etravirine? > > Hi all, I have been having dizziness and a 'spaced out' feeling leading > to some 'vague' moments since starting on Raltegravir nearly a year ago, > it hasn't passed but its not all the time....its unpredictable and to be > honest, when it happens in company its embarrassing and when its outside > my home I don't feel that safe...... > > My Clinician is aware of this, is taking it seriously, feeding back to > the drug company and I am now having neurological tests.... he is asking > me to consider Etravirine but I am loathe to do so because it may make > my neuropathy worse... > > I take Pregabalin and Duloxotine (along with Carnitine) for the > neuropathy and since there has been no tests to see if Isentress is > contraindicated with those drugs, may be that is the problem...I also > take Truvada, Darunavir/Ritonovir > > I know two other people on Isentress who are not of the same demographic > and they are also having the same side effects, though one has only been > on it for 3 months and the other for 6.... > > Best > >
