Guest guest
Wondering if anyone has used a vaporizer to smoke marijuana. Ive been having recurrent sinus infections and am considering buying a vaporizer. Any one have any experiences with decreased respiratory/sinus infections due to vaporizer? Thanks
Guest guest
I'm not sure a vaporizer will help with your sinusitis. I use a Neti pot regularly to keep my sinuses clear for pranayama - yogic breathing practices. When there is a rare accumulation of mucus overnight while sleeping, one rinse from the Neti pot in the morning allows me to keep the sinuses clear all day. Neti is a yoga cleansing practice that's been used for thousands of years. It's a simple process and there are usually very clear instructions with the pots. - Peace,
Guest guest
**i'm not a doctor, ask your doctor for his reaction to this b4 you act on it.** in the initial transition from smoking to vaporizing, u may aquire an upper respiratory or sinus infection, much as one commonly does when initially ceasing smoking completely. the same particulate matter poisoning u serves as a dysfunctional check on the growth of microbes...remove the toxins, and the subsequently weakened lungs are more vulnerable ***in the short term***...over the long term, ceasing to inhale smoke is ALWAYS a smart move. the 'buzz' from a vaporizer is different, somewhere between the buzz of toking vs that of eating cannabis. however, done correctly, any given strain of cannabis will be 2-4 times stronger, toke for toke. this is the key to vaporizing: it boils the THC and many other cannabinoids right out of the plant without burning it and fully releasing all that other matter into a gas. also, whereas burning cannabis destroys most of the THC, vaporizing preserves most of it. in short, vaporizing will be smoke-less and thus nearly harmless, FAR less damaging to the lungs than smoking, and as each toke of any given strain will be 2-4 times stronger, ***u will ultimately save money and spare your lungs further damage by FULLY switching to a vaporizer***. HOWEVER, to gain the benefits of vaporizing you must CEASE smoking. as with ciggarettes, longterm full usage will leave your lungs too vulnerable to recover under even spare smoking conditions...ie, someone smoking a pack of cigs a day for years is NOT going to get much benefit from tapering down to 3-4 cigs a day. until the stressor has FULLY ceased, recovery of the tissue is unlikely. give vaporizing a chance and stay away from pipes and joints...once u get the hang of it, u may not want to go back. if u give ur lungs some time to recover and then commence an exercise program, then you'll REALLY come to see the benefits, as you'll display lung/breathing power you probably forgot that you're capable of. I've used the Volcano and the Vapor Brothers models with good results, most others r just glorified heating guns and/or dont work as well. good luck. > > Wondering if anyone has used a vaporizer to smoke marijuana.
